The event from noon to 6pm also provided food trucks at multiple sites around the city. Fans could walk, travel on a bike trail, or a trolley system to see art at private studios, public art, and art-friendly businesses. Coming over four months after the summer shooting, Art All Day took art lovers on a trip around Trenton to different art venues. On November 3rd, Artworks hosted the seventh annual Art All Day. The 2018 gathering ended in gunfire which resulted in 22 people being injured, 17 from gunfire and one killed, but this did not stop artists. As a resident of Trenton, New Jersey and a lover of the arts it hurt to witness the tragedy that occurred this year at Art All Night over the summer. Since then, the museum has acquired over 12,000 pieces of art, ranging from paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, and photographs. It would be another thirty-five years before the Fine Arts collection area was added in 1964, which was also the year the museum moved from the State Capital complex to the brand new Capital Cultural Complex. Although it was established in 1895, it would be thirty-four years before the Decorative Arts collection was added as its third area.

This may or may not be my second to last blog post but hey, better late than never right? Being a resident of Trenton, New Jersey, I’ve probably driven past this museum as many time as I’ve seen the iconic “ Trenton Makes The World Takes” bridge. One of my biggest goals of the semester was to head to an art museum for one of my blog posts and I’m upset that it has taken me this long. I am happy I was able to learn not only audio editing, but also brush up on my video editing skills, and even learning how to make and edit a blog was fun to do for the first time.

For those who did read my blog, whether you enjoyed it or hated it, thank you for coming it still means the world to me. The learning and making of my blog were enjoyable and I would pursue another blog under another topic, but as for the Right Side, it is coming to a close. Along with the semester, I will be ending my blog. It’s been a long, work-filled semester and I can not be happier mine will be over in a little over 72 hours.
